This term may sound intimidating, but it can be a financial benefit for you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:42px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">It all starts with health insurance<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As you may know, all inhabitants of The Netherlands are required to have health insurance. It is a legal requirement, to protect Dutch citizens in case of health problems. Health care insurance covers doctor&#8217;s visits, most medications, hospitalization under various circumstances, and other services depending on the insurance company and type of coverage.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:42px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is Zorgtoeslag?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Even though health insurance is mandatory, not everyone has the same income to support this expense. That\u2019s why the Dutch government introduced Zorgtoeslag. It is a type of health care allowance, which helps people with low income to pay for their health insurance. The amount you receive depends on your income, with a maximum of <em>\u20ac111 per month<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:42px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who can get Zorgtoeslag?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Zorgtoeslag is available for everyone who is obligated by Dutch law to have health insurance. This includes employees from abroad! As long as your<em> income is not higher than \u20ac31.998 per year<\/em>, you can request Zorgtoeslag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:42px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to apply for Zorgtoeslag<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To apply for Zorgtoeslag, you&#8217;ll first need a <a href=\"\/pl\/bsn-heres-why-you-really-need-one\/\">BSN number.<\/a> The process of requesting Zorgtoeslag can be complicated, even for Dutch natives. <strong>That is why, when working with us, our administrative team can help you apply for Zorgtoeslag<\/strong>.
